Local artist to debut new artisan exhibit at Clean Slate Botanicals
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Local artist Sarah Duet will open her brand-new exhibition SHOREWARD at Clean Slate Botanicals during the spring.
The exhibit will be comprised of mixed media abstract paintings inspired by the seascapes of the Gulf South. Clean Slate is also releasing their line of spring candles in company with Duet's exhibition.

'I couldn't think of a better place to debut SHOREWARD than at Clean Slate,' said Duet. 'I hope people will experience the peaceful atmosphere we've created in the shop and want to bring a taste of that into their own homes or offices.'
The opening reception will be held this Saturday, March 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clean Slate Botanicals, 4832 Line Avenue in Shreveport. Guests will be able to meet and interact with Duet while exploring a selection of art and home decor.
'Expect to see the worlds of an artisan and artist collide in a display of creative synergy,' said Clean Slate owner Ben Whalen. 'Clean Slate Botanicals has curated a wonderful spring collection of products, and we couldn't be more excited to share our space with Sarah.'
