IIT-Madras issues a certificate of appreciation to CSE faculty
Visakhapatnam: Indian Institute of Technology-Madras issued a certificate of appreciation to SITAM CSE faculty Mogali Madhu Babu for being recognised as NPTEL star believer 'January-April 2025' Madhu Babu is working as Associate Professor in Department of CSE-AI and DS in SITAM. He received the certification following an online examination conducted by the IIT-Madras. Madhu Babu has successfully completed four courses of IoT, Advance Computer Networks, Computer Networks and Internet Protocol and RM with an impressive consolidated scores that earned him a silver badge in IoT course, The Associate Professor's remarkable performance demonstrates his academic excellence, commitment to continuous learning. Director of the institution Dr Majji Sashibhusan Rao, Principal DV Ramamurthy, among others congratulated Madhu Babu for his achievement in Vizianagaram.

SITAM launches ‘E-GAME' book
Vizianagaram: E-GAME, a specially edited book to learn English with fun is unveiled at SITAM College, Vizianagaram on Monday. The book E-GAME (English Grammar Access Made Easy) presents an innovative, structured, and engaging methodology for mastering English grammar. Centred around the acronym SVAPTIPS—Sentences, Verbs, Articles, Parts of Speech, Tenses, Interrogatives & Imperatives, and Punctuation—the book simplifies foundational grammar. It also includes advanced concepts, question banks, language games, riddles, and original techniques such as Exclunym, Versonym, Factonym, SLING, EITHER, or Spell Spreads, all designed to make learning enjoyable. Prof. G S N Raju, Vice Chancellor of Centurion University, lauded the book's creative approach and stressed the global importance of English proficiency. He described author R U Narasimham as a 'Man of Wisdom' for his dedication to linguistic innovation. Dr Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi, Secretary & Correspondent of SITAM, emphasized the universal need for English in today's world and urged the author to ensure the book remains accessible and affordable for students from all backgrounds. ‘World IP Day' celebrated at SITAM
Vizianagaram: The Department of Management Studies SITAM College organised a thought-provoking workshop to mark World Intellectual Property (IP) Day. The theme for this year, 'IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP,' celebrates the powerful synergy between creativity, innovation, and intellectual property rights in sustaining a dynamic and inclusive global music industry. Dr Bhavya Manjeera Patruni, Scientist and Deputy Manager at the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) shed light on the significance of IP rights, particularly copyrights, patents, and trademarks not only in the music domain but also in the broader context of start-ups and entrepreneurship. She emphasised how IP management supports innovators in safeguarding their creations and facilitating successful commercialisation. SITAM's Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) has been at the forefront of fostering innovation and IP awareness among students. Its active engagement with national organisations like NRDC ensures that theoretical learning is complemented by practical exposure to the real-world innovation ecosystem. SITAM Director Dr Majji Sashibhushana Rao, Principal Dr DV Ramamurthy and others have participated in the programme.
