SK Networks partners with Qualcomm to strengthen AI solutions portfolio
SK Networks Co., an information technology solutions unit under SK Group, said Tuesday it has partnered with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. to strengthen its artificial intelligence business portfolio.
As a first step, Qualcomm will provide SK Networks with its high-performance Internet of Things solutions, including Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490, the Korean company said.
The solution is designed for industrial and commercial IoT applications, including kiosks, tablets and robots.
SK Networks said the partnership will help it achieve world-class AI performance and security by utilizing advanced IoT solutions.
Furthermore, it plans to collaborate with Qualcomm to develop new business models centered around on-device AI in various sectors. (Yonhap)
