SSR Mining Declares that Operations at Seabee Will be Temporarily Suspended
SSR Mining Inc. (NASDAQ:SSRM) reported that due to power outages brought on by nearby forest fires, operations at Seabee have been temporarily halted. Although the site and infrastructure are not currently under immediate danger due to the fire, standard safety procedures are being followed to protect the staff members. SSR Mining Inc. (NASDAQ:SSRM) is a minerals firm that mines precious metals in the Americas. The production of gold accounts for more than half of Silver Standard's earnings, with silver production providing a significant amount. The Marigold mine in Nevada, the Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the Puna mine in Argentina are all owned and run by the firm. The Puna mine is the primary source of Silver Standard's silver production, while the Marigold mine provides the majority of the company's gold.
