Comments from Torbjörn Kronander, President and CEO of Sectra AB– "Our long-term efforts to create value for healthcare and society, and ultimately our shareholders, are continuing to deliver good results in 2024/2025. We took major steps forward in our core areas—medical IT and cybersecurity—where we deliver solutions that improve people's quality of life and safety all over the world.– The past fiscal year can be summarized as follows: record-breaking order bookings, a continued positive trend for secure communications and progress in the transition to selling medical diagnostic imaging as a service. We have not yet fully completed this transition. Our extensive deliveries will take many years to complete and have not yet started to generate meaningful revenue. Nor have we had the same support from currency effects as before. Nonetheless, profit for the year was good. The most important thing to note is that our customers remain satisfied. In our medical operations, we broke our previous record, winning more Best in KLAS awards than ever before. This provides external proof that we have the highest levels of customer satisfaction.– In the short term, we expect that decreased license sales in Imaging IT Solutions will have a dampening effect on sales growth. Major customers will also go live in the coming year, which will place additional pressure on profitability before they start generating revenue. In the long term, however, the transition will be highly beneficial—for us and for our customers.– Our success is built on the dedication and expertise of our employees. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of our employees. Their passion and knowledge are what drives Sectra's continued development. I would also like to thank our customers and partners for the trust they place in us, and our shareholders for their long-term support. Together we are making a difference in society." Firies forced to use paper maps to find emergencies

More than two years after a cyber attack crippled communication systems, firefighters in one state are still being forced to use personal phones and printed maps to navigate to emergencies. Fire Rescue Victoria is investigating the cause of five system outages last month, which lasted up to seven hours at a time. The United Firefighters Union says the outages are risking public safety, a claim FRV strongly denies. The Station Turn Out (STO) system, used to dispatch crews to emergencies failed, with firefighters receiving phone calls from dispatchers asking if they had received notices to attend emergencies. The notices had never arrived. Firefighters and dispatchers had to rely on fallbacks and workarounds like manual phone calls, pagers, and pen and paper to respond to emergencies. The union says one outage occurred in late April, followed by the five in May. The same system also provides emergency tones throughout stations, delivers routing information to firefighters and advice on hydrant location. In its absence firefighters relied on a combination of Google Maps on their personal phones, Melway street directories, and separate apps. The union said neither the outages nor resolutions were communicated by management to firefighters -instead they became aware through communication between stations or a call from Triple Zero Victoria. In a letter sent to Commissioner Gavin Freeman seen by AAP, United Firefighters Union Secretary Peter Marshall said the failure of the critical systems put firefighters and the community at risk. "The failure of these systems has potentially grave impacts," Mr Marshall told AAP on Sunday. "Firefighters are resourceful in protecting public safety, but these failures make that job more difficult and dangerous." On Sunday, Fire Rescue Victoria confirmed it had experienced "intermittent technical issues" since May 24. "We are working closely with Triple Zero Victoria and external experts to investigate the underlying cause of these STO/Firecom outages and resolve the ongoing issue," a spokesperson said in a statement. "When STO/Firecom outages occur, FRV has contingency plans in place which ensure there is no impact to emergency response. "At no time has public safety been compromised and the community should continue to contact Triple Zero (000) as usual in an emergency." Victorian health minister Mary-Anne Thomas said cyber attacks were a real and present threat to both the private and public system. "It's important that all our public services have contingency plans in place should there be an incident, and that's what FRV implemented," Ms Thomas told reporters on Sunday. Questions still remain over the December 2022 cyber attack. The hack significantly affected Fire Rescue Victoria's technology and communications systems and exposed sensitive information. It also left the Firecom firefighting information system offline for a year, and affected the rostering system for much longer. IRLAB Reports Positive Results from the Second Part of a Phase I Study with IRL757

GOTHENBURG, SE / / May 28, 2025 / IRLAB Therapeutics (STO:IRLAB-A)(FRA:6IRA) - Gothenburg, Sweden, May 28, 2025 - IRLAB Therapeutics AB (Nasdaq Stockholm:IRLAB A), a company that discovers and develops new treatments for Parkinson's disease, today announces the company has successfully completed the second and final part of its clinical Phase I study, in which the drug candidate IRL757, being developed for the treatment of apathy, was administered in multiple ascending doses (MAD). The results show that IRL757 is well absorbed and provides good exposure in the body following ten days of dosing. All participants completed the study, and no serious adverse events were recorded. The safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetic profile of IRL757 support continued clinical development. "We are very pleased that IRL757 is well absorbed and provides good exposure in the body while demonstrating excellent tolerability and a favorable safety profile. These results give us a strong foundation for the continued clinical development of the drug candidate, which has the potential to treat and counteract apathy in millions of patients with neurodegenerative diseases," says Dr. Joakim Tedroff, MD, Chief Medical Officer at IRLAB. The Phase I study has been funded by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF) through a grant of just over SEK 20 million. MJFF is the world's largest non-profit funder of Parkinson's disease research, and the organization's support for IRL757 means a strong external validation of the project's goals and potential. Based on the positive results from the completed Phase I studies, a clinical Phase Ib study in Parkinson's disease and apathy has been initiated in cooperation with The McQuade Center for Strategic Research and Development (MSRD), a member of the global Otsuka family of pharmaceutical companies. The first patients are expected to be enrolled in the study in the second half of 2025. IRLAB and MSRD formed a collaboration in May 2024 to advance IRL757 through proof-of-concept trials as a potential treatment of apathy. Apathy is characterized by indifference, resignation and a lack of response to what is happening in the outside world. The condition often leads to significant disability and caregiver distress, affecting a substantial proportion of people living with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other diseases related to the central nervous system. Currently, there are no drugs on the market to treat apathy. IRLAB's drug candidate IRL757 has shown positive effects in several preclinical models of cognitive function, including improved motivation. This effect is believed to be associated with the drug candidate's unique ability to counteract disturbances in central nervous system nerve signaling proposed to underly apathy in several neurological conditions. Om Fas I-studienThe Phase I study consists of two parts and aims to document the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetic properties of IRL757 in healthy subjects. In the first part of the study, single ascending doses of the drug candidate are administered (SAD) and in the second part, multiple ascending doses are given (MAD). In addition, the possible influence of concomitant food intake will be documented. For more information Kristina Torfgård, CEOPhone: +46 730 60 70 99E-mail: About IRL757 The drug candidate IRL757 is being developed as a treatment for apathy in Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions. Apathy, a widespread and debilitating issue, affects over 20 million people in the U.S. and Europe alone without a currently available treatment. The prevalence is high, occurring in 1.1-4 million people (20-70 percent) being treated with Parkinson's in the eight major markets (China, EU5, Japan, and the US), and in 4.9-6.7 million people (43-59 percent) being treated for Alzheimer's disease in the ten major markets (Canada, China, EU5, Japan, South Korea, and the US). IRL757 has the potential to become the first treatment for apathy. The efficacy of IRL757 is thought to be linked to its unique ability to reverse disruption in cortical to sub-cortical nerve signalling, a key factor believed to contribute to apathy in neurological disorders.
