Saad Natiq: We are determined to snatch points from South Korea
National team defender Saad Natiq confirmed on Saturday that all players are ready to snatch points from the match against South Korea.
In statements attended by an Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent, Natiq said, "All players are determined to achieve victory and perform at a high level against the South Korean team."
He added, "There is great harmony between the players and the technical staff, and our primary mission is to make the Iraqi people happy." He called on Iraqi fans to support the team, attend the stadium, and cheer the players throughout the match.
Natiq explained, "The team is determined to achieve a positive result and win the match, and the players have no choice but to win." He stressed that "all members of the team are ready for the match."
The Iraqi national team will meet its South Korean counterpart at Basra International Stadium next Thursday, as part of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
