Anshul Aggrawal on Thursday conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of
Moksha Dham
, a cremation ground at Charitra Van in Buxar, and expressed displeasure over the sluggish pace of the project exceeding its scheduled completion date by over a year, only 6-7 workers were found on site.

, the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO) was entrusted in 2022 with the development of Moksha Dham. The project, valued at an estimated Rs 8 crore, includes the construction of two electric crematorium platforms and four wooden on the banks of the Ganga, Moksha Dham holds deep mythological significance and receives hundreds of bodies daily from districts across the Bihar-Uttar Pradesh DM asked the project director to impose financial penalties on the contractor, in line with the relevant rules, for failing to meet the timeline.

In response, the project director assured the DM that the construction would be completed by July 31, 2025. The DM directed him to submit a detailed work plan junior engineer was ordered to provide daily updates on construction progress.
