International Pro-Palestine Conference In Sana'a, Organized By Iran-Backed U.S.-Designated Terror Group Ansar Allah (Houthis), Was Attended By Politicians And Activists From U.S., U.K., Ireland, And South Africa

The Iran-backed Ansar Allah Houthi Movement hosted a conference in Sana'a, Yemen, which gathered representatives of US-designated global terrorist organizations, as well as Western and international politicians, academics, and activists, including from the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Africa.
87 Papers Presented At Palestine Conference
The four-day conference, titled "Palestine: The Central Issue of the Ummah," was held under the slogan "You are not Alone" in Sana'a from March 22-25, 2025.
The event called for a submission of "research and scientific papers," which were presented in ten "parallel sessions" on the second day of the conference. According to the Saba' News Agency, 87 papers were presented in total. [1] Among these were papers reviewing the student protest movement in American universities, the "Zionist influence on the United States," and a paper exploring "the origins of the Jewish occupation and Allah's permission to resurrect those whom He will afflict with terrible torment until the Day of Judgment." Participants from Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, India, Malaysia, and other countries reportedly delivered remarks on their work.
United States: Influencers Jackson Hinkle And Christopher Helali
The event also hosted several Western activists, including Moscow-based American social media influencer Jackson Hinkle and Christopher Helali, the International Secretary of the American Communist Party. Helali was pictured by the Saba' News Agency while addressing the conference.

On X, Hinkle posted several photos, taken during his visit to Yemen, which showed him meeting with high-ranking Houthi officials, including Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Houthi Supreme Political Council, and Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces. The former was sanctioned by the US Government on March 5, 2025. [2]

Ireland: Politicians Mick Wallace And Clare Daly
From Ireland, politicians Mick Wallace and Clare Daly – who are members of the Independents 4 Change political alliance – attended the Sana'a-based conference.

Wallace addressed the conference during its opening session on March 22. Sharing a video recording of his address on X, Wallace commented: "Israeli Genocide continues and #Yemen are one of few countries adhering to International Law which calls on all countries to 'prevent + punish actions of Genocide in War + Peacetime' - So the US + EU call them Terrorists for trying to stop the Genocide of Palestinians..." Wallace also shared a photo on X, which documented his meeting with Saree in Sana'a. [4]

United Kingdom: Activist Journalist Steven Sweeney
Beirut-based British journalist Steven Sweeney – a correspondent for Russia Today (RT) – also attended the conference. On X, Sweeney shared a photo showing him posing with Helali and Yemeni social media influencer Ahmad Hassan in Sana'a on March 21. [5]

South Africa: Nelson Mandela's Grandson, Zwelivelile Mandela
South African politician Zwelivelile Mandela, the grandson on Nelson Mandela, addressed the conference's opening session on March 22, during which he led an English-language chant: "Free, free Palestine! From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free! Viva, Hamas, viva! Viva, Hizbullah, viva! Viva, Ansar Allah, viva! Long live the undying spirit of the Yemeni people, long live! Long live the undying spirit of the Yemeni people, long live!" [6]
