'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' remains steady at the Indian box office during weekdays. The Tom Cruise-starrer is enjoying a good run in the country after rocking a solid first weekend. The film opened at Rs 16.5 crore nett in India on Saturday, and stands at Rs 44.75 crore after its four-day run, reported the trade website 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' has already emerged as Cruise's biggest opener in India. 'MI 8' is expected to slowly surpass the Rs 100 crore nett mark by the end of its lifetime run in India. The last 'MI' film - 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' collected around Rs 110 crore nett in 2023. The new 'MI' film is likely to go past this figure, setting new benchmarks for both the franchise and Tom film will see a clash from 'Kesari Veer' and 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' in India this weekend. While none of the films seem to have garnered enough buzz, it will be interesting to see if any new release manages to deter the smooth run of 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' in new instalment in the popular action franchise is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and features Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Greg Tarzan Davis and Ving Rhames, among others.
