Avista Senior Living Increases Length of Stay by Incredible 112 Days with SafelyYou
AI innovation shown to drive tenure, too, with SafelyYou users nearly 50% more likely to stay one year or more, compared to non-users of the service Avista also achieved a remarkable 84-second average response time to on-the-ground events vs. the reported average of 40 minutes SAN FRANCISCO, April 08, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avista Senior Living, an innovative senior care provider with kindness at the core of everything they do, has seen remarkable results in their partnership with SafelyYou, the leader in empowering safer, more person-centered care across senior living through world-leading AI, industry-changing hardware, and remote expert clinicians. By implementing SafelyYou Respond™, Avista has dramatically increased length of stay, improved tenure, reduced response time to on-the-ground events to an average of 84 seconds, as well as reduced fall-related ER visits. Increased LOS and NOI. In an analysis of 628 Avista memory care residents, those using SafelyYou stayed 43% longer—or an average of 112 days longer—than those not opted into the service. This demonstrates SafelyYou's ability to solve the challenge of early move-outs in senior living, supporting stabilization of census for operators. Communities save costs on room turn, vacancy, and prospecting with better resident retention, so this increased LOS means improved NOI.
