FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The most recent data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation proves how safe Northwest Arkansas is, with 12 cities being in the top 20 safest. The FBI's Crime Data Explorer shows that half of Arkansas' 20 safest cities experienced a year-over-year decline in violent crime. A report by Safewise shows: The top three cities in the list—Cave Springs, Austin, and Pottsville—reported zero murders, rapes, and robberies. For the second year in a row, Gentry reported zero burglaries. 5 cities reported fewer than five violent crimes: Cave Springs, Austin, Pottsville, Cherokee Village, and Vilonia. A sample survey of about 5,000 Arkansans highlights that more than half of Arkansans are concerned about violent crime, a Safewise survey shows. WHITEHOUSE, Texas (KETK) — A recent crime data analysis by Safewise named the City of Whitehouse as the 25th safest city in Texas, based on violent and property crime rates. What are the top 5 safest cities in Texas? The study showed that Whitehouse has a population of about 9,609 with a violent crime rate of 1.14 per 1,000 people and a property crime rate of 5.20 per 1,000 people. This means just a little over one violent crime is committed for every 1,000 people that live in the city. Whitehouse's safety rating has improved every year since 2022 when it placed 67th. The City of Whitehouse said the ranking speaks for the dedication that law enforcement, residents and city leadership enacts to keep the city a safe space. The city's violent crime rate is 2.67 below the national average with property crime coming in at 13.9 below that national average. The wants to build on this momentum by investing in public safety resources building strong relationships between law enforcement and residents. Man killed after motorcycle crash east of Springfield

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Springfield died Saturday afternoon after he was thrown from his motorcycle in a fatal crash in eastern Greene County. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the 42-year-old man was riding a 2021 Aprilia Tuono motorcycle west on Route YY, a mile and a half east of Springfield. These are Missouri's 10 safest cities for 2025, according to Safewise Just after 1 p.m., the motorcycle left the roadway while traveling at a high speed on Route YY and hit an embankment, ejecting the driver, the crash report says. MISSOURI – Home security company Safewise recently released its annual 'Safest Cities in Missouri' list for 2025. The list is created by examining crime rates calculated by the FBI. Safewise also evaluates results from a 'state of safety' survey to gauge how residents perceive crime and safety in their communities. This year, the 'Safest Cities' list for Missouri features five of its Top 10 cities from the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area, including the Top 2 ranked cities. Glendale According to Safewise, the safest city in Missouri is Glendale in St. Louis County. Just behind it was Cottleville in St. Charles County, which was named Missouri's safest city in the previous two annual rankings. As for Missouri, Safewise reports a 7% decrease in violent crime compared to last year and that more than half of measured cities (139 total) saw year-over-year decreases in violent crime and property crime. (WPRI) — Bristol has once again been recognized as the safest town in Rhode Island, according to Safewise The annual Safest Cities report revealed that Bristol's violent crime rate is 0.2 incidents per 1,000 residents, while its property crime rate is 2.6 per 1,000. 'I can't thank the sworn and civilian support staff enough. It's their hard work in the field day in and day out, poise and care, which is the catalyst for this achievement for the past six years,' Bristol Police Chief Kevin Lynch said.
