Teachers back in school but stir to go on
Kolkata: Teachers protesting near the education department in Salt Lake returned to their classrooms on Monday following the summer vacation, temporarily halting their protest.

However, the stir will continue, they said.
Sahani Naznin, an English teacher at Baruipur Girls High School, said, "The movement is not over. We returned to the school because we know our responsibilities. It was a great pleasure to see the faces of my students who also waited for me, but I don't know how long this bond will continue. SSC has our OMR sheets' mirror images that they can re-evaluate for a re-panel. Is it possible for us to prepare for a competitive exam again at this age?"
A prominent face of the protest, Chinmoy Mandal, said they will decide on the direction of the movement on Tuesday, and the demonstration will continue alongside classes at schools. "After taking classes and serving our duties at schools following the SC order, it's not possible to devote time to preparing for the exam again," he said.
