Erie Catholic Diocese announces funds for Venango Co. school
The closing and sale of a Catholic school in Venango County is helping another school in that area continue its mission.
Tuesday, the Erie Catholic Diocese announced the creation of a $372,000 fund to support Saint Stephen Grade School in Oil City.
Paving project starts in Venango County on Route 427
The money is coming from the recent sale of the Venango Catholic High School property.
According to the announcement, the fund will pay for programs, recruitment and maintenance.
