‘Bows 11 hits in win vs Chaminade
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors hosted Chaminade at the Les Murakami Stadium on Tuesday.
The two teams met up for only a 1-game series this week.
Chaminade started off red hot at the plate as they scored 4-runs in the 1st inning, with help from a RBI single into left field and a 3 run RBI Double to push it to 4 runs.
Hawaii answered quickly as Sakaino hammered a solo homerun to deep right field and than a sacrifice fly later on in the inning brought home another run.
The 'Bows continued their scoring into all of the 1st 5 innings. Hawaii scored 4 runs in the 2nd and than 1 run in each of the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings.
Through 6 innings, Hawaii tallied 10 hits and held Chaminade scoreless from the 2nd through 6th innings.
Hawaii ends up winning 9-4 and will next turn to (#15) UC Santa Barbara this weekend in a 3-game series at home, starting on Friday at 6:35pm.
Chaminade will take to the road to take on Menlo in a 4-game series in 2-days from Friday-Saturday.
