Sakar Healthcare secures second EU marketing authorization for Oncology Injection

This newly approved product is intended for the treatment of colorectal cancer, a highly prevalent condition across Europe. The approval was granted based on a dossier compiled under stringent EU regulatory guidelines, reinforcing the strength of Sakar's research-led, EU GMP-certified oncology formulation facility. The company's first oncology injection—approved in April 2025 for treating breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and prostate cancer—is already progressing towards its first commercial supply. With this second MA, Sakar can now commercially export its oncology injection products across EU markets. Several other products, including liquid and lyophilised injections as well as oral solids, are currently under review. Approvals for these are expected in the coming months, further accelerating Sakar's presence in the European oncology segment. A sticker under the white plastic base reads 'VIVITAR,' 'Description: Blender Bottle,' 'ITEM: ES15-BB-TA' and 'MID #5220824,' along with 'MID #5220824' on the underside of the white plastic base, per the recall notice. No injuries have been reported, the commission said. The blender bottles were sold at Target stores in Michigan and online between December 2024 and January 2025, per the commission. If you bought a recalled blender bottle, you should stop using it and return it to the manufacturer, Sakar, for a refund, the commission says. EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Nearly 200,000 Vivitar Blender Bottles have been recalled because they pose a laceration hazard to users. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the blades can keep moving while the bottle is detached from the blender. There's been one report of that happening, but no injuries to date. The recalled bottles were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide and online from December 2024 through January 2025, the CPSC said. 'ITEM: ES15-BB-TA' and 'MID #5220824' are printed on a sticker on the base. Consumers are advised to stop using the blender bottles and contact Sakar for instructions on how to receive a refund. The CPSC said the recalled bottles must be returned in order to receive a refund, but proof of purchase is not required. The bottles should not be returned to Target stores, according to the CPSC.
