In this regard, the council organised, on Tuesday, a lecture on conflict management to promote community cohesion, at its headquarters. The lecture was attended by His Excellency Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul Al Salami, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn City Council, council members, a select group of male residents, and a large number of invitees. Dealing with social disputes The lecture addressed the foundations and methods for dealing with social disputes in a conscious and constructive manner, highlighting the importance of understanding differences between individuals and transforming them from points of conflict into opportunities for understanding and rapprochement, thus contributing to building a more interconnected and cohesive society. Strengthening social cohesion In this context, His Excellency Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul Al Salami expressed his pride in organising the lecture as part of the Council's Ramadan programmes, emphasising that the lecture falls within the framework of the Council's commitment to strengthening social cohesion and raising awareness among community members about issues that impact family and societal stability. The session was attended by Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul Al Salami, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn City Council; and Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf, Chairman of the Municipal Council. ​ Residents voices transformed into practical steps In his opening remarks, Dr. Salah Al Ghoul Al Salami emphasised that the initiative comes within the framework of enhancing effective communication with citizens, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, in line with the directives of the wise leadership, which urge attention to the needs of residents and listening to their opinions.
