U-15 Hockey5s League 2025 witnesses exciting finish

AHLI SIDAB CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF GROUP 1
The Under-15 Hockey5s League 2025 concluded with an exciting finish, where Ahli Sidab Club was crowned champions of Group 1 after a dominant and well-deserved 7-2 victory over Al Amerat in the final match held at the Oman Hockey Stadium in Al Amerat.
Ahli Sidab entered the game with strong determination, controlling the match from the first quarter. Badr al Mujaini opened the scoring with two consecutive goals, giving his team an early advantage. Azan Khamis then added a third with a well-executed team play finished with a powerful shot. Al Amerat tried to reduce the deficit, but Ahli Sidab's solid defense held firm.
In the second quarter, Ahli Sidab continued their offensive pressure. Badr al Mujaini completed his hat-trick with a third goal, followed by a fifth goal from Saeed al Fazari after a precise pass. Saeed al Alawi then impressed by scoring two back-to-back goals, increasing the lead to 7-0. Despite Al Amerat's attempts to stage a comeback, Moayad al Farsi managed to score twice, ending the match with a 7-2 victory for Ahli Sidab.
AL ITTIHAD CLINCH U-15 TITLE
In Group 3 (Dhofar Governorate), Al Ittihad Club clinched the top spot after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Salalah (A). Al Ittihad displayed balanced performance to secure first place, while Salalah (A) settled for second.
On the individual awards level, Hazaa al Fouri from Al Amerat won the Best Player award in Group 1, while Abdullah al Battashi from Qurayat claimed the Best Goalkeeper award. Saeed al Fazari from Ahli Sidab took home the Top Scorer title for netting the most goals.
In Group 3, Moatasim Shakib from Al Ittihad was named Best Player for his outstanding performance in leading his team to victory. Firas Hardan from Salalah (A) earned the Top Scorer award, while his teammate Mohammed Rajab won the Best Goalkeeper award for his crucial saves.
Al Nasr seal U-18 glory in Dhofar Governorate
The Under-18 Hockey Fives League also witnessed a remarkable performance from Ahli Sidab, who continued their dominance by securing first place in Group 1 after an exciting 7-4 win over Al Amerat in a thrilling contest that remained competitive until the final moments. Al Amerat settled for second place.
The Group 1 final between Ahli Sidab and Al Amerat started with high intensity. Al Amerat opened the scoring through Khadraj al Musharafi, but Ahli Sidab quickly responded with goals from Rashid al Alawi and Saeed al Fazari to take the lead. Moheeb al Darmaki equalised for Al Amerat, but Saeed al Fazari restored Ahli Sidab's advantage with a third goal.
As the excitement continued, Khadraj al Musharafi scored again to level the game at 3-3. However, Saeed al Fazari completed his hat-trick before the quarter ended, giving Ahli Sidab a 4-3 lead.
In the second quarter, Ahli Sidab tightened their defense and continued their offensive push. Rashid al Alawi scored his second goal, followed by a sixth from Maitham al Wahaibi with a powerful shot. Saeed al Fazari then capped his brilliant performance with a fourth goal, taking the tally to seven. Al Amerat added a fourth goal through Moheeb al Darmaki, but the match ended with a 7-4 victory for Ahli Sidab.
AL NASR SEAL U-18 GLORY IN DHOFAR
In Group 3 (Dhofar Governorate), Al Nasr secured the title with a commanding 3-0 win over Salalah (A), who finished second in the standings.
On the individual awards side for Group 1, Rashid al Alawi from Ahli Sidab was named Best Player for his outstanding performance. Issa al Raisi from Al Seeb won the Best Goalkeeper award, while Saeed al Fazari secured the Top Scorer title. In Group 3, Mohammed Jumaa from Salalah (A) won the Best Player award, while Sanad Sbeit from Al Nasr claimed the Top Scorer title, and Sultan Khamis was awarded Best Goalkeeper.
