Police team named Al Dhaid's Ramadan Volleyball champion

Through this event, Al Dhaid Club has demonstrated its ability to host high-quality sporting events, reinforcing its role as one of the top clubs in the area. The Police team emerged as the champions of the tournament after showcasing impressive teamwork and strategy. The Al Dhaid Club team secured second place, displaying a strong competitive spirit throughout. The Mohammed Awad team came in third, putting up an excellent performance, while the Al Madam team finished fourth, also showing commendable effort. An awards ceremony took place at the club's headquarters to celebrate all the participating teams. Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, the club's chairman, and Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, the club's executive director, presented trophies and prizes to the winners. The ceremony attracted many volleyball coaches and club officials, along with participants from the community, highlighting the event's social and sporting significance. Intense qualifying rounds The qualifying stage commenced yesterday at the club's headquarters, attended by Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Dhaid Club, Khalifa Mubarak Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Head of the Cultural Committee, and Mehir Obaid Al Khayyal Al Teneiji, the club's Executive Director. Participants competed across various categories, ranging from one to twenty Juz' (chapter). Strong partnerships for success Organised in collaboration with the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment, the competition featured expert judging panels to ensure accuracy and fairness. This partnership was widely appreciated for enhancing the quality and credibility of the event. Recognising excellence Salem bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi highlighted the competition's role in strengthening Quranic values. The closing ceremony, set to take place during Ramadan, will honour outstanding participants and contributors who played a key role in its success.

A reflection of community values His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, stated that the Ramadan Gathering is a prime example of the community role played by sports clubs, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He explained that the activities hosted by the club contribute to fostering a dynamic environment where culture and sport come together, promoting intergenerational communication in a setting of goodwill and brotherhood that aligns with the values of Ramadan. Gratitude for Supporters of the Gathering Khalifa Mubarak bin Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural Committee at Al Dhaid Club, praised the vital role the gathering plays in attracting diverse segments of society through activities that encourage both personal growth and healthy competition.
