Sonakshi Sinha Requests Husband To Do Her Make-Up, Says ‘Im Bored Already'

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who was last seen in the horror-comedy 'Kakuda', was dolled up by her husband Zaheer Iqbal. On Sunday, the actress took to her Instagram, and shared a GRWM (Get Ready With Me) video, in which she can be seen getting assisted by her husband for the make-up. At the start of the video, Zaheer can already be seen getting bored as he declares, 'I'm bored already'. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sonakshi Sinha (@aslisona) The actress then asks her spouse to not, 'don't destroy' her products. After a bit of banter and bickering, her husband did the make-up pretty much on point. He even asked her, 'Should I do your hair?'. The actress went on to say, 'Husband has done my make-up today. And this is what it looks like. And I can totally go out with it'. In December last year, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer celebrated one year of their engagement by jumping off a plane. The actress took to her Instagram, and shared a video in which she could be seen enjoying the thrill of skydiving. She also penned a long note in the caption, as she wrote, 'On 30th Dec 2022 we got engaged… 2 years later, we decided to celebrate by jumping off a plane!!!!! Saying goodbye to the best year 2024 on the HIGHEST note, can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for us!! Happy new year everyone!! Make it your best '. The couple tied the knot on June 23 in Mumbai after 7 years of dating. They first met at a party hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Interestingly, both Sonakshi and Zaheer started their careers with Salman. While Sonakshi made her debut opposite Salman in the box-office phenomenon 'Dabangg', Zaheer made his debut with Salman Khan's home production 'Notebook'. The couple reportedly dated for 7 years, and lived together for a year before tying the knot. Their wedding ceremony was followed by a grand reception ceremony that was attended by several Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, Yo Yo Honey Singh and more. Zaheer is an actor, and made his debut in 2019. His father Iqbal Ratansi has businesses in jewellery and real estate, and is a childhood friend of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan which explains Zaheer making his debut with 'Notebook', produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films.

Sikandar was the maiden collaboration between Salman and Murugadoss. The Hindu review of the movie said, 'Salman's stiff presence and stilted dialogue delivery add to the woes. The action choreography has little novelty. In the absence of effective camerawork, it seems people queue up to be beaten by a star whose intent is intact but agility waning. After Sikandar debacle, Salman Khan considering projects with Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Sooraj Barjatya; also offered a film set in Aksai Chin

The box office debacle of his latest film, AR Murugadoss' action flick Sikandar, hasn't stopped film offers from coming Salman Khan's way. However, if reliable industry sources are to be believed, the actor is now gravitating towards a safe space. He may soon reunite with filmmakers he's delivered critically acclaimed box office hits with. However, he has not greenlit any project yet. ' Salman Khan 's upcoming slate is very exciting. The writers and directors who are in talks with the megastar have filtered only promising content. Interestingly, his previous blockbuster collaborator, Ali Abbas Zafar of Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat fame has a massy subject for Khan,' said the source. Zafar first collaborated with Salman on the 2016 wrestling drama Sultan, in which Salman played a senior Haryanvi wrestler, who comes out of self-imposed retirement and eventually reunites with fellow former wrestler and his estranged wife (played by Anushka Sharma). It was backed by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. YRF, Zafar, and Salman reunited for the spy thriller Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017, the sequel to Kabir Khan's blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger (2012). The film starred Katrina Kaif opposite Salman and revolved around the two spies rescuing abducted Indian and Pakistani nurses from a terrorist outfit in the Middle East. Zafar and Salman last collaborated on the 2019 hit Bharat, a period drama which juxtaposed the journey of Salman's titular character against that of the nation. Katrina played the leading lady here as well. Bharat was backed by Salman Khan Films, his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Productions, and T-Series. Not only Zafar, but Kabir Khan is 'also in talks' with Salman for a 'solid content-driven film.' Salman and Kabir have not only collaborated on Ek Tha Tiger, but also the 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which revolved around Salman's character taking a mute girl back from India to her home in Pakistan. Kabir and Salman also worked together on Tubelight (2017), but the film bombed at the box office. In a recent interview, Salman revealed that veteran screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad is writing the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. 'Its sequel can be made. But the problem is that if it's made, then Munni will talk. He (Vijayendra Prasad) is writing it, and a draft is ready,' said Salman. Even Sooraj Barjatya, who gave Salman his 1989 breakthrough Maine Pyaar Kiya, is in talks for another ensemble movie. The two have also given hits like Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Hum Saath – Saath Hain (1999), and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). 'There are two films. I've to decide which one to do next. Barjatya sahab is doing a film now. I'll do his next one,' Salman said. Additionally, 'the superstar is also in talks with makers for an intriguing subject based on a real-life story fro0m Galwan Ghati, Ladakh, Aksai Chin,' said the source. 'Though all these subjects are really interesting, let's see which all films convert to go on floors in the near future,' the source added.

Sikandar Box Office Performance: Salman Khan Addresses Age Gap Controversy

Salman Khan's film Sikandar hasn't seen much growth at the box office. On Day 25, the movie made just ₹5 lakh, according to Sacnilk. This brings the total domestic earnings to ₹110.3 crore, while its global earnings have reached ₹184.82 crore. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna. In Sikandar, Salman plays Sanjay Rajkot, a man who fights against corruption, while Rashmika plays his wife, Saisri Rajkot. A lot of attention was given to the 31-year age gap between the lead pair, which Salman addressed in his usual candid manner. At the trailer launch, he said, 'If the heroine has no problem and even her father is fine with it, why should anyone else care about the age difference? When she gets married and has a daughter, we'll still work together, with her mother's permission!' Alongside Salman and Rashmika, the movie also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik. India Box Office: ‘Sikandar' Snails Past $20 Million In A Week

Indian star Salman Khan is headed for another damp box office outing. His latest release, the Hindi film Sikandar, just managed to score $21.9 million in a week at the global ticket windows. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar hit theatres on the festive occasion of Eid, an unusual Sunday release. For the large-scale release on more than five thousand screens, Sikandar has not delivered the expected box office results. Given the limited number of Hindi films that have scored beyond $20 million this year, Sikandar has managed to secure a spot among the top-grossing Hindi films of 2025. With the $21 million collection, Sikandar is the fifth highest-grossing Indian film and second highest-grossing Hindi film of the year. Vicky Kaushal's war saga Chhaava remains the top scoring Indian film of 2025 and will soon be streaming online on Netflix starting April 11. Sikandar had an underwhelming global opening score of $6.3 million on Sunday when it hit theatres. In India, the film made $4 million on the first day, after collecting nearly $1 million in advance booking ticket sales for Sunday, March 30. On the second day, Sikandar maintained its pace and totaled nearly $12 million worldwide. Completing three days on Tuesday, the film managed to score $16.4 million at the global box office. In India, the Salman Khan film grossed $11.9 million in three days. Sikandar recorded decent box office numbers for the following working days - its fourth, fifth, and sixth ones at the ticket windows. The film's seventh day box office number, however, was a disappointing one as it did not improve the numbers even on a Saturday. The film managed to score an underwhelming $21.9 million global gross by the end of its one week at the box office. In India, Sikandar had a seven-day score of $15.8 million. Sikandar is co-produced by Salman Khan Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The producers chose an unusual Sunday release for the film as Khan has a history of scoring big with his entertainers released around the occasion of Eid. Sunday and Monday were Eid holidays in India while Tuesday was a working day, making it a challenge for the film to score huge numbers. A lack of novelty in the narrative and treatment of the story added to the task, turning Sikandar's box office run into an average one. Meanwhile, Chhaava and the new Malayalam release - Mohanlal's Empuraan - continue to have a dream box office run. AR Murugadoss who previously made Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini (2008), has directed Sikandar. The new film features Salman Khan in the lead role of a former Indian king Sanjay Rajkot who is fondly known as Sikandar. Pushpa star Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife in the film. Two main antagonists feature in the film. Sathyaraj (Baahubali fame) and Prateik Smita Patil have played the negative parts. The film also stars Sharman Joshi, Anjini Dhawan, and Kajal Aggarwal in important roles. Murugadoss wrote the film with Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal, and Ratan Arora. Sikandar is about a former Indian king and how his workaholic attitude turns into a humanitarian one. While the film fails to deliver wholesome entertainment package that Khan is known for, Sikandar does offer a cocktail of thrills, traditional family values, and Khan's star persona.
