Mecca: 500 Palestinian pilgrims from families of martyrs, prisoners, wounded arrive to perform Hajj, Umrah
MECCA AL-MUKARRAMAH, June 1 (MENA) - The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in Saudi Arabia received Sunday the first group of Palestinian guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit implemented by the ministry. The group including male and female Palestinians from the West Bank who are members of the families of martyrs, prisoners and wounded performing Hajj and Umrah this year 1446 AH. The pilgrims are among the first group of guests from the Palestine to arrive at the kingdom in implementation of directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims at his own expense. Saudi King Salman Orders Hosting Of 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims From Affected Families For Hajj
RIYADH, May 20 (Bernama-SPA) -- Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued directives to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded Palestinian people to perform hajj this year, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The report stated that King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is sponsoring them at his own expense to perform Hajj this year, 1446 AH, as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Programme for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. On this occasion, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of the programme Sheikh Dr Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for this generous gesture.

Israa Farhan Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued a directive to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims at his own expense to perform Hajj for the Islamic year 1446 AH. The announcement was made on Monday by Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and the General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. He emphasized that this generous gesture reflects the Kingdom's steadfast support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to strengthening Islamic unity and solidarity. 'This royal directive is part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to ease the Hajj pilgrimage for Palestinians and provide comprehensive support throughout their spiritual journey,' said Al Al-Sheikh. He added that the Ministry immediately began preparing an integrated plan to ensure a smooth and dignified pilgrimage experience. The support will begin from the moment pilgrims depart Palestine until they return, covering all aspects of travel, accommodation, and logistics during their stay in Makkah and Madinah. Since the launch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program in 1417 AH, the initiative has hosted over 64,000 pilgrims from around the world. King Salman Orders Hosting 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued on Monday a royal order to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims to perform Hajj 2025, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The King has ordered the 'hosting of 1,000 male and female pilgrims from the families of killed or wounded Palestinians' at his own expense, according to the statement. As part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, the initiative seeks to support the Palestinian people amid the ongoing war in Gaza. Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh expressed his gratitude to King Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this generous gesture. Moreover, Al Alsheikh also said that it depicted Saudi leadership's commitment to supporting Palestinians and boosting the bonds of Islamic brotherhood.
