Two 14-year-old boys held over rape of girl, 12, in Dorchester
Two 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of raping a 12-year-old girl in a field next to a Police said the incident, near Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester, was reported at 19:45 BST on Sunday.A cordon remains in place while officers examine the two boys, from Weymouth, have been released on bail while enquiries continue, police said. Girl, 12, ‘raped outside school' as two 14-year-old boys she met that day are arrested
TWO 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of raping a girl outside a school. The 12-year-old was allegedly attacked in a field in Dorchester, Dorset, at around 7.45pm on Sunday. Police held two teen boys on suspicion of rape but they have since been bailed pending further enquiries. Officers believe the girl had met the two suspects earlier in the day. She is being supported by specially trained officers while the investigation continues. A cordon remains in place while searches of the area are carried out. Neighbourhood Inspector Sam Goom, of Dorset Police, said: 'We take reports of sexual offences very seriously and my colleagues have been carrying out extensive enquiries into the incident in recent days while supporting the victim.
