DRDO chief Dr. Sameer V. Kamat shared another major update. He said that DRDO has started working on two advanced versions of the Pinaka rocket system: one with a range of 120 kilometers and another that can strike up to 300 kilometers. According to him, both versions are expected to be ready for induction into the Indian Army within the next 3 to 5 years.
Dr. Kamat also added that India's artillery capability is now fully self-reliant, and the country can meet all future requirements on its own.
