BJP takes out huge Tiranga Yatra hailing Operation Sindoor
Citizens, including ex-servicemen, youths, women and students from different educational institutions, took part in a 3-km long massive rally, Tiranga Yatra, organised by the BJP district unit in Kalaburagi on Saturday in the wake of the successful action against terror, Operation Sindoor.
The rally carrying a portrait of goddess Bhuvaneshwari began at the Nagareshwara School in Nehru Gunj and concluded at Jagat Circle.
The activists attached to Samskrita Bharatiya Sanghatane, ABVP and students carried a huge tricolor, symbolizing the unity and pride of the nation, and demonstrated their patriotic fervour.
The rally echoed patriotic songs and slogans.
Religious head Kedar Shree of Mashal, addressing the rally, credited the operation's success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong political will and the Indian Army's precision strike power.
Operation Sindoor is a unique symbol of Mr. Modi's unwavering determination, he said and lauded the armed forces for destroying terror camps in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, participating ex-servicemen stated that Operation Sindoor has demonstrated the consequences to terror outfits of their action to wipe out the Sindoor (vermilion) of Indian women.
The rally also paid tribute to martyrs from the Armed Forces and civilians who lost their lives.
Sri Ram Sene national honorary president Siddalinga Swami also spoke on the occasion.
BJP leader and former MP Umesh Jadhav, MLC B.G. Patil, the former legislator Dattatraya Patil Revoor and others were present.
