Stray Kids' Hyunjin donated KRW 100 million to Samsung Seoul Hospital on his birthday
26 Mar - It was reported that Stray Kids' member Hyunjin has made a heartwarming gesture of generosity by donating 100 million Korean Won (approximately 68,000 US dollars) to Samsung Seoul Hospital.
JYP Entertainment officially confirmed that the 25-year-old singer made this significant contribution on his birthday, 20 March, as a meaningful way to express gratitude to his fans.
This charitable act is not new for Hyunjin, as it marks his second consecutive year of donating to the hospital. He has a consistent history of supporting children, previously sponsoring Christmas gifts and parties for pediatric and adolescent patients.
The recent donation will be specifically used to support critical medical needs, including covering the costs of surgical procedures, transplants, and emotional support programmes for young patients.
In a touching statement, Hyunjin shared his heartfelt motivation behind the donation: "I am very grateful to be able to repay the love you have given me. I hope that the children who are receiving treatment can recover and cultivate their bright dreams."
