26-year-old accused of killing 75-year-old at Canton Township bar

CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – One man has died after a shooting at a bar in Canton Township late Monday night.
According to a press release from the Stark County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a 911 call about a shooting at the Old Landmark Tavern on Ridge Avenue around 11:45 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene, a 75-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside the bar, the release said.
The victim was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the release.
According to the release, deputies were told several people were involved ina verbal argument that became physical, which led to shots being fired.
A suspect, 26-year-old Samuel Shank, was also found at the scene and charged with one count of murder.
