Sanchi Rath flagged off in Bhopal, to test purity of milk
Bhopal: 'Sanchi Rath' was launched in Bhopal for testing the purity of milk and milk products at your doorstep. It was at Spring Valley Society in Katara Hills on Sunday and tested 55 samples, out of which 20 were found impure.
According to Bhopal Milk Federation, which is carrying out the campaign for testing milk and milk products in different localities of the city, under the campaign titled 'Dudh Ka Dudh, Pani Ka Pani', a mobile van equipped with modern testing devices goes to different residential areas and collects samples of milk and milk products for testing. The result of the test is communicated to concerned consumers over mobile or WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, Bhopal Milk Federation launched the 'advance card scheme' for its milk consumers on Friday. Under the scheme, consumers will get a 50 paise per litre concession on the purchase of Sanchi milk. Managing director of MP State Cooperative Milk Federation, Sanjay Govani, and chief executive officer (CEO) of Bhopal Cooperative Milk Federation, Pritesh Joshi, launched the scheme from a Sanchi parlour in Shahpura.
