Huawei launches its most high-tech smartwatch to date
Huawei has unveiled its most high-tech smartwatch to date, that will act like a 'health MOT on your wrist'. The tech giant's latest wearable product is the HUAWEI WATCH 5, a truly high-end smartwatch that combines cutting-edge technological advances, customisable features, and the latest in style. HUAWEI WATCH 5 is , including a rare chromatic Purple and majestic Sand Gold. It is built with luxury-grade and aerospace-level materials, so it will remain looking beautiful for a long time while accompanying you in life's rougher, tougher moments. The HUAWEI WATCH 5 starts at £399 GBP, although it is , with a free strap included in the deal. A major feature of the HUAWEI WATCH 5 is X-Tap, a that transforms the way you can monitor your health and wellbeing. Simply pressing and holding the sensor for three seconds instantly directs you from the watch home screen to Health Glance, where you can get detailed insights at a glance into 9 health metrics. The sensor then obtains multiple health indicator reports covering basic health tests, cardiovascular health tests and respiratory health within just 60 seconds. Think of it like a mini health MOT that's on your wrist. The wearable tech boasts three strap materials: titanium, Fluoroelastomer, and composite materials. Meanwhile the new composite strap marks a first in the industry, consisting of a plain composite leather on the surface and soft rubber on the bottom, boasting both comfort and durability. The watch has been designed for everyday life, and the feature will make it even easier to interact with your watch as you can easily answer or hang up calls, switch music, and take photos by double tapping or swiping your fingers with one hand, which greatly improves the efficiency of smartwatch usage. We've got the new FreeBuds 6 that start a new chapter in Huawei's premium audio portfolio, the 12.2 -inch MatePad Pro with a new anti-glare display, plus the Fit 4 series and the Huawei Watch 5, which we will dive into Huawei Watch 5 is the latest in the Chinese tech giant's smartwatch lineup and it brings some cool new tech like Multi-sensing X-TAP, advanced health tracking, smarter gesture controls and that sleek design the previous Huawei Watch generations are known for. Yep, the Watch 5 sticks with the smooth, polished look but now comes in two sizes: 46mm and 42mm. It comes in several different colors, depending on the size. Hold the X-TAP sensor for 3 seconds and you get a One-Tap Health Glance – a full health report covering 9 key metrics like heart rate variability and blood oxygen, all delivered in just a controls get a boost, too, now supporting "Double Slide" and "Double Tap," making it easier to use when you can't touch the screen much (and we all have these moments, right?). While the Chinese tech giant hasn't officially said if it is coming to the United States, the previous model showed up on Amazon and other retailers – so chances are, this one will, too. And if not, there is always the import route if you are eager to get yourself the new a heads-up, though – Huawei devices still don't support some Google apps and services and importing can come with a few trade-offs.
