Inside Sandile Mahlangu's phenomenal style
Sandile Mahlangu isn't just acting the part, he's dressing it too. We caught up with the style-savvy star to unpack the fashion flair behind his standout looks.
As the founder of the clothing brand SANDU, he is a huge risk taker when it comes to his style.
'It stems from my deeply seated belief that without risk there isn't a reward. I live that mantra from my widely published leap from working in the mines in the North West at the age of 19 to being a professional actor, model, public figure, clothing brand owner, farmer and now musician with my latest single Umhlaba released on all music platforms,' he tells TRUELOVE.
His personal style is that of boldness as he uses it to express himself.
'It's relatively easy to maintain authenticity once you genuinely understand that clothes are an expression of who you are. I've developed authentic relationships with numerous stylists so that they understand the type of person that I am. This allows for conversation - where we both work on making sure that my personality shines through the pieces that I wear,' he shares.
