Gaurav Chopraa returns to TV after five years

Gaurav Chopraa; in Gadar 2 Gaurav Chopraa is back on the small screen after a five-year break. The actor, who was last seen in Sanjivani 2 in 2020, will now be a part of Pushpa Impossible . He says, 'I play a lawyer, who motivates Pushpa in her journey. I have never played a typical role on TV and this role is also quite different, which prompted me to take it up.' 'People do judge TV actors, but if you bag a good role, you will shine' In the past few years, Gaurav kept away from TV and was focusing on other mediums. The actor, who starred in films like Gadar 2 and Bachchan Pandey, and the OTT show Rana Naidu, admits that it is not easy for TV actors to make a transition. He says, 'It is quite tough. Casting agents come to you with offers only if they have been briefed to get a well-known TV face, otherwise they don't approach you even if you are good for the role. But if you bag a good role, you will shine, nothing can stop your growth.' 'Don't give these extra actor, film are all actors' Gaurav shares his views on how TV actors have been constantly judged. He said, "For the last two decades I have always said that an actor should not be given an extra tag like a TV actor or a film actor. When these extra tags stay with you people judge you for it. At the end of the day we are all actors." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Switch to UnionBank Rewards Card UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo 'The euphoria around OTT shows has reduced' Ask him about some people feeling that OTT is losing its sheen and Gaurav replies, 'The euphoria around OTT shows has reduced.
