Sanskruti Kawade Patil and Narendra Galande Patil were set to tie the knot at Alankaran Lawns at 6.56 pm when it started to rain suddenly. 'There was chaos around the venue. Nearby, in the hall, the walima ceremony was going on. We requested the Kazi family to allow us to use the hall for some time to perform the saptapadi' ritual," a member of the Galande Patil family was quoted as saying by PTI. The Muslim family responded positively and offered the stage. A video of the incident going viral on social media platforms shows both the couples sharing a stage as they pose for the pictures. Guests can also be seen congratulating them and taking pictures with them. Not only did they help them with a new wedding venue, but the guests of the Muslim family also helped them make arrangements. The wedding concluded with both sides enjoying a joint celebration. The Muslim family, who were celebrating their walima (wedding reception) in an adjacent hall, allowed the Hindu couple to use their venue to perform the traditional saptapadi ritual. "There was chaos around the venue. Nearby, in the hall, the walima ceremony was going on," said a member of the Galande Patil family. "We requested the Kazi family to allow us to use the hall for some time to perform the 'saptapadi' ritual," the family member added. "Even their guests helped us make arrangements for our rituals on stage. The rituals were performed with full respect for each other's traditions," he said. The gesture of interfaith harmony culminated in both communities sharing a feast together. The two newly-wed couples, Maheen and Mohsin Kazi along with Narendra and Sankruti, came together on stage for photographs, marking the memorable occasion.

Nearby, in the hall, the walima ceremony was going on," said a member of the Galande Patil family. "We requested the Kazi family to allow us to use the hall for some time to perform the saptapadi' ritual," he said. The Muslim family agreed immediately and vacated the stage. "Even their guests helped us make arrangements for our rituals on stage. The rituals were performed with full respect for each other's traditions," he said. Later, people from both communities enjoyed a joint feast. Maheen and Mohsin Kazi, the newly-wed Muslim couple, shared the stage with Narendra and Sankruti for photographs.
