In-demand pilates teacher Kevyn Zeller opens a new East Hampton studio

For 18 summers, pilates instructor Kevyn Zeller has been offering one-on-one classes in the Hamptons — for those lucky enough to get a time slot. 'I have a pretty devoted, solid clientele,' says Zeller, who also teaches on the Upper East Side. 'It's already starting to book up for the summer.' But starting this summer, she will offer group classes, named 'core collective sessions,' from a beautiful new studio in East Hampton. Each class can fit four people at a time, in the hopes that her private clients can now meet one another or bring along friends. 'People had to cancel pilates when they had guests in town, but now they can just bring them along,' she tells Alexa. The space, which is above Sant Ambroeus restaurant, has a 'spacious and airy feel,' Zeller notes. 'It's like a cathedral with high ceilings, lots of natural light.' All the walls are painted one earthy color so the mood feels calm and relaxing the second you walk in the door. 'It's like a private retreat,' she adds. 'The pilates I teach is very meditative, it requires a lot of focus, so this studio takes away all the distractions.' All the equipment is handcrafted with wooden frames and adobe white upholstery. Zeller believes this is the first time a group pilates class will be taught on Cadillacs: four-post structures with springs, handles, and bars that provide different exercise opportunities. 'There is so much you can do on a Cadillac to develop strength,' she said. 'So being able to incorporate these into a group class experience is really unique.' Classes start at $75 and will include Acqua Panna mineral water and gift bags for new clients packed with a unisex essential oil blend. Each class will last a full 60 minutes, with 15-minute intervals before and after classes so clients can take their time arriving and leaving. 'I really want this to be a special retreat from the chaotic world we are living in these days,' Zeller says. 'It's really a dream come true. I don't believe it entirely yet. Every time I walk into the space, I think, 'This is like if pilates was heaven on earth.''

‘SNL' star Chloe Fineman claims she was ‘scolded' by NYC restaurant manager in front of Demi Moore: ‘I'm not nobody'

Live from New York … it's a humiliated 'Saturday Night Live' actress. Comedian Chloe Fineman, a cast member on NBC's iconic late-night sketch show, has claimed that an NYC restaurant manager scolded her about etiquette in front of actress Demi Moore over the weekend. Fineman and her sister tried to dine at Sant Ambroeus, an Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side, after they took a pilates class and visited The Met, but their dining plans didn't quite pan out. 'We walk in, and they're like, 'Oh yes, right this way,'' the comedian shared in a TikTok video posted on Saturday. ''Right this way,' they say. So I walk into a room.' 'There's several empty seats and I sit down and then I look up and it's Pilaf the little mouse, the celebrity dog of Demi Moore. And I see Demi Moore.' Fineman and the 'The Substance' star met backstage on 'Saturday Night Live,' but their off-work reunion at the restaurant was short-lived. A frantic manager that she not name allegedly rushed the comic and her sister away from the Oscar-nominated actress and into a different room. The jokester, known for her impressions of celebrities like Drew Barrymore and Britney Spears, claimed she didn't realize she had to 'talk to another Italian guy' to get a seat at the establishment that allegedly looked empty. 3 Comedian Chloe Fineman was humiliated in front of actress Demi Moore. Evan Agostini/Invision/AP 'Maybe I had no makeup on?' Fineman questioned. 'I don't know. Did I not look legitimate enough for this empty room of San Ambrose?' The manager was allegedly upset that she didn't have a reservation, however Fineman wasn't ready to back down and flaunted her celebrity status to try and get a table. 'Calm down, I'm not nobody. I'm on SNL,' Fineman told the staffer. 3 Fineman shared the entire embarrassing story on her TikTok. @chloefineman/TikTok 'Go off, diva,' her sister joked in the social media post. 'He was like, 'I don't care who you are. I treat everybody the same. You have to talk to me first,' Fineman repeated in an Italian accent. Her sister stepped in and told the manager they were leaving. 'You could call it a Karen. I also call it living in New York, and everyone is, like, rude as f–k,' Fineman added. The Post has reached out to Sant Ambroeus and Fineman's reps for comment. The comic has a history of speaking out about negative interactions. In November, Fineman called out billionaire Elon Musk for making her 'burst into tears' when he hosted 'Saturday Night Live' May 2021, which was her first year as a repertory cast member. The 'Summer of 69' star insisted she wasn't the only person he had upset. Fineman alleged that the SpaceX CEO made 'multiple cast members cry' because 'he hated the ideas' they pitched.
