Undergrowth near Santon Downham 'well alight' at forest fire
Fire crews have been called to a large forest Suffolk Fire Service said it was alerted to a blaze at Marks Lane, near the village of Santon Downham, in Thetford Forest, at 14:41 BST on a statement, it said the area affected covered several hundred metres and forest and undergrowth were "well alight".Five fire engines were there, a spokesman said.
