Here are the meals that made our mouths water the most this month:
🍄🟫 Alayna: Annette's beloved spring pasta — the ramp and morel mafaldine — returned to the menu last week, and it's every bit the seasonal stunner fans remember.
The noodles were silky and slurpable, the sauce buttery and umami-rich with parmesan, and the mushrooms added an earthy, savory punch. If only this beauty stuck around year-round.
🧁 Esteban: I let my sweet tooth decide on breakfast during a recent visit to Santos Café and Grill, opting for the pan dulce French toast.
The Mexican spin on a French classic involves a toasted concha (Mexican pan dulce), topped with ice cream and caramel sauce and served alongside whipped cream with strawberries. It was super sweet, so I recommend balancing it with some coffee.
