Bahrain Chamber, FPCCI to boost bilateral trade
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) convened a joint virtual meeting on Tuesday, to explore opportunities for enhanced trade and economic cooperation. The meeting was attended by Khalid Najibi, First Vice-Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber; Sahibzadi Mahin Khan, Convener of the FPCCI; Asif Inam, Vice-President of the FPCCI; H.E. Saqib Rauf, Pakistan's Ambassador to Bahrain; and a delegation of business owners from both Bahrain and Pakistan representing diverse sectors. Speaking at the meeting, Najibi highlighted the strong historical ties between Bahrain and Pakistan and emphasized the potential to further increase bilateral trade, which exceeded $112 million USD in 2024. He also emphasized the competitiveness of Bahrain's economy and the incentives available to foreign investors. Ambassador Saqib Rauf commended the Bahrain Chamber's efforts in connecting business owners and expressed his aspiration to host a Bahraini business delegation in Pakistan in the near future. For her part, Sahibzadi Mahin Khan underscored the FPCCI's role in facilitating trade and expressed the organization's eagerness to exchange business delegations with Bahrain.

Club honours Pakistan Ambassador
Mr. Mohammad Afzal Bhatti, Chairman of The Pakistan Club Bahrain, hosted a distinguished lunch gathering on Friday, 25th April 2025, at the Sadoun Guest House to honour His Excellency Mr. Saqib Rauf, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event was attended by Mr. Aneel Zafar Deputy Head of Mission Pakistan Embassy, Bahrain, along with several prominent leaders from the Pakistani community and the business sector in Bahrain. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. M. Akram Choudhry, Mr. Ejaz Choudhry, Mr. M. Sajid Sheikh, Mr. M. Iqba Joz, Mr. M. Shuja Ul Islam, Mr. Jalil Malik, Mr. Samiur Rahman, The Chairman Pakistan School Bahrain, Dr. Saleem, Mr. Awais Goldmith along with other notable members of the community. Excellent platform The luncheon served as an excellent platform for strengthening community ties, fostering unity, and discussing initiatives for the welfare and advancement of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain. The event concluded on a warm and positive note, with attendees engaging in fruitful discussions and reaffirming their commitment to unity and progress. The Pakistan Club Bahrain continues to be a beacon for community engagement, proudly upholding its mission to serve and represent the Pakistani community in the kingdom of Bahrain.

Shura Chairman meets Pakistani Ambassador; discusses strategic ties
Email : Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Saqib Rauf, Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, in the presence of Kareema Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council. Al Saleh reaffirmed the deep-rooted historical ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, highlighting their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors. He noted that the expanding partnership between both nations aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari. He also commended the continuous exchange of visits among leaders, officials, and parliamentary members, emphasizing the importance of legislative collaboration, knowledge sharing, and enhancing coordination at regional and international levels. Ambassador Rauf, in turn, praised the enduring Bahrain-Pakistan relations, reaffirming both countries' dedication to furthering cooperation and advancing common developmental goals for the benefit of their people.
