Lincoln rolls past Rapid City Stevens in ranked battle
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Lincoln softball team routed Rapid City Stevens 11-2 Saturday afternoon in a matchup of the two teams tied for third in this week's KELOLAND coaches poll.
The Raiders struck first with a run in each of the first and second innings to build a 2-1 lead.
The Patriots surged in front with a four-run third inning, highlighted by Sara Mathison's two-run home run. The Pats added three more runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings.
