I've had so much filler now my huge lips are LEAKING – trolls say I should ‘buy a puncture repair kit in Halfords'

Sarah-Jane Sinclair, a 28-year-old mother from Harlow, Essex, used to look like your typical girl next door until she got a drastic makeover six years ago with tattoos, fake tan, long nails and lip filler. Not only does she get Botox every few months, but she also gets her plump pout maintained every two to three months - with 2ml of filler injected each time. While Sarah-Jane, a self-confessed tattoo addict, loves her enhanced appearance, she has now been left lost for words after noticing filler leaking from her huge lips. Posting on social media, the inked woman who has previously been slammed as 'demonic' for her unique look, squeezed her top lip, only for a clear liquid to leak out. Stunned by her leaky lips, Sarah-Jane, who posts online under the username 'Essex Ink', wrote: 'My lips are leaking filler. 'I noticed some bumps so [I] squeezed them. This was the result.' Showing off the migrated filler, she gasped: 'Can you see that? That is f*****g filler coming out of my f*****g lips.' Opening her mouth is disbelief at her lip filler which she claimed had 'gone wrong', she continued: 'What the f**k?! I'm shook.' According to Karidis Clinic London, the rise in popularity of over-exaggerated pouts and trends such as the 'Russian lip' has led to an increase in issues with lip filler migration. These techniques typically involve multiple punctures of the lip border, making it likely that filler can leak out. Nurse, 36, shocked after 'routine' lip filler ended up in a cancer diagnosis To avoid filler leaking from lips, you must ensure to avoid overfilling. You should only use trusted dermal filler brands, follow aftercare advice and choose a reputable practitioner. Social media users react The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @essexxink, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 695,400 views in just 11 hours. Not only this, but it's also amassed 11,400 likes and 845 comments, with many trolls sharing their thoughts on the lip filler fail. Are you surprised? There's lip filler and then there's over the top lip filler TikTok user One person joked: 'Buy a puncture repair kit in Halfords.' Another added: 'Your body [is] trying to tell you something.' A third laughed: 'Buy a plastic pool repair kit.' At the same time, one beauty enthusiast gasped: 'Whoever did this to you needs their license taken away.' What are the risks of lip fillers? THE RISKS of dermal fillers depend on whether the procedure was done correctly and the type of filler used. The NHS recommends you speak to your practitioner about the risks beforehand. Serious problems are rare but can include: Infection A lumpy appearance under the skin, which might need to be treated with surgery or medicine The filler moving away from the intended treatment area, which may need to be removed using surgery Scarring Blocked blood vessels in the face, which can cause tissue death and permanent blindness You should see your GP if you have any complications that need medical attention and speak to your practitioner if you're not happy with the results or experience lumpiness. Source: NHS Whilst someone else questioned: 'I mean, are you honestly surprised?" Not only this, but another agreed and asked: 'I come with no hate but are you surprised? There's lip filler and then there's over the top lip filler.' Meanwhile, others shared their advice for Sarah-Jane, as one recommended: 'Go to the doctor.' A second chimed in: 'Just keep the area clean, ice if necessary, take anti inflammatories and try not to squeeze them. Monitor it and see your GP if symptoms worsen, you develop a fever or you think the wound has become infected.' A third then suggested: 'Don't squeeze it lovely, speak to your esthetician, she may have some advice to help you.' ‘Temu Katie Price' hits back at trolls after extreme filler tattoos

Tattoo addict Sarah-Jane Sinclair, dubbed the 'Temu Katie Price', has hit back at trolls who've slammed her extreme look, insisting she's finally happy after years of trying to please others A woman who's been dubbed the 'Temu Katie Price ' after sharing her dramatic transformation online has hit back at trolls who said she looked better in 2019, insisting she's finally living life on her terms. Sarah-Jane Sinclair, from Harlow, Essex, says she's been bombarded with abuse over her facial tattoos, plumped-up lips and ultra-bronzed skin, but she's not letting the haters get her down. ‌ The mum-of-one has spent years transforming her look with tattoos across her face and body, lip filler, and a regular dose of nasal tanning spray. She says she loves the person she's become since splitting from her 'traditional' ex-husband, who didn't agree with her 'fillers and stuff.' ‌ 'Right, for everyone saying, 'Oh 2019 you looked perfect,' why are we glorifying obesity?' she said. 'My BMI was f**king through the roof. And also, secondly, why are we glorifying someone who wasn't happy within themselves?' Sarah-Jane posted a TikTok to her account, essexxink, comparing her old appearance to now, with the caption: 'Overweight, no veneers, no face tatts.' The clip, which has racked up more than 116k views, shows her pre-tattoo, pre-filler look before she embraced her bold new image. Sarah revealed her ex 'would never agree to face tattoos' and wasn't a fan of her existing inkings either.(He) would never agree to face tattoos, he wasn't happy with the tattoos I had already,' she explained. 'It's only when I got divorced that I started becoming who I truly wanted to be. Glorifying obesity and glorifying someone who was really unhappy with themselves, you know, I just don't understand it.' ‌ Since embracing her unique style, Sarah-Jane has covered herself in body art, including nine on her face with phrases such as "stand out" and "be original," and has had lip filler injected 15 times. 'I've got nearly two arm sleeves, half a leg sleeve, a bit on my lower back and stomach, all my chest, neck and fingers, the back of my thighs and obviously my face,' she previously said. However, online critics have been far from kind. One person commented, 'Temu Katie Price.' Another joked, 'What's the BMI for the lips? You could take them to Slimming World.' ‌ 'That looks so painful,' added another. And a fourth said: 'Did you have an allergic reaction?' In a video posted to TikTok, which has reached 2.3 million views, showing Sarah-Jane's very swollen lips, one commenter has added: 'I do aesthetics, and if you came to me wanting more filler, you would be told no. You do not need it, and I'd suggest you speak to your GP for possible body dysmorphia, which can be very serious. X' Another unimpressed commenter added: 'Whoever did this should lose their licence.' Another commenter echoing the sentiment said: 'The person doing this needs to be stuck off.' In an interview with the Mirror in 2021, Sarah-Jane said: 'People say it's ruining your body, but I believe your body is a temple and you should decorate it, so I'm decorating myself,' she said. "I don't fit into society, but we shouldn't all be the same. I just like being me and free.'

Get ready to glow as experts say airbrush skin will be summer's top beauty trend

The 'clean girl' aesthetic is amplified as airbrushed skin is set to be summer's biggest beauty trend. Master the flawless, natural glow this season by following the basics of skincare With summer fast approaching, a new beauty trend is emerging, and it's all about skin that looks so flawless, it could have been filtered. Say hello to airbrush skin, the look that's about to dominate beaches, festivals and brunch dates alike. Airbrush makeup has long been a favourite for brides and special occasions, thanks to its ability to last for hours and withstand the elements. Now, beauty lovers everywhere are taking those same techniques into their everyday routines. ‌ Celebrity make-up artist, Sarah-Jane Froom, who has worked with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Alexa Chung, explains it's all about gradually building layers with your make-up. Sarah-Jane tells the Mirror: "In 2025, airbrushed skin is taking centre stage in the UK beauty scene. This is a trend focused on creating a flawless, softly perfected skin with a refined, natural finish." ‌ The airbrushed skin effect isn't about heavy coverage or a full-face of thick foundation. Instead, it's about achieving a smooth, even, and luminous complexion that still looks natural and fresh. It's your skin, but perfected. Sarah-Jane emphasises the importance of using lightweight products when going for the airbrushed look, saying: "It's all about incredibly lightweight layers built gradually to smooth and enhance the complexion, rather than mask it. It's making our skin look filtered in real life! It's luminous, lifted, and you can't see it! Whether you're using high-end or high-street products, this trend is made in the technique, and that starts with the right products, application techniques and tools." American actress Brooke Shields is one of many celebrities who have adopted the airbrushed look as part of her "less is more" beauty philosophy. She uses a Mineral Air tool to apply a carefully mixed foundation, ensuring a light yet even base. She then blends it out with a brush, adding just a touch of concealer under the eyes to finish. Dr. Helena McMahon, Founder of SEABODY, explains how the first step to achieve 'airbrush skin' is prioritising skincare. Dr McMahon says: 'The 'airbrush skin' trend reflects a growing consumer awareness of skin texture and light reflection, both of which are fundamentally influenced by skin health." Detailing the importance of maintaining a good skincare routine to achieve a flawless complexion, Dr McMahon says: "The skin appears plumper, more uniform, and naturally luminous, providing the ideal canvas for makeup to deliver that flawless, 'airbrushed' effect.' ‌ How to achieve airbrush skin Skin preparation is absolutely essential if you want your makeup to glide on like a dream. While regular exfoliation helps remove dry patches and fine facial hair, both of which can cause foundation to cling unevenly. Smooth skin is the first secret to a flawless finish. Once your skin is exfoliated, hydration is key. Take a few extra minutes to let your serums and moisturisers sink in properly before layering your make-up. A good little tip is to press, rather than rub, products into your skin to encourage better absorption and a more polished base. When it comes to applying foundation, lightweight formulas are the stars of the show. Whether you use an airbrush tool or a buffing brush, the aim is to even out the skin tone without masking your natural texture. Think of it as evening out, not covering up. ‌ Cream products are the next step to building that soft, glowy dimension. Applying cream blush, bronzer, or highlighter first, and then lightly dusting over matching powders, helps to 'lock in' colour while maintaining that dreamy, blurred effect. Setting sprays have also become a non-negotiable part of the summer beauty routine. A few spritzes can help to hold your makeup in place through humidity, heat, and even the occasional impromptu pool party. ‌ For those who want to go the extra mile, setting powder applied with a diamond-shaped puff can make all the difference. Focus on areas where makeup tends to crease, such as around the nose and under the eyes, to achieve a truly airbrushed finish. The key to nailing the look is a light touch, especially with powder. Overloading can lead to a dry, cakey appearance, which is the opposite of the smooth, hydrated skin that defines this trend. Ultimately, the airbrush skin trend is about celebrating skin rather than masking it. It's a more polished version of the 'clean girl' aesthetic, with a little more technical know-how behind the scenes. With just a few tweaks to your routine and a little patience with your prep work, achieving airbrushed perfection is well within reach this summer. Get ready to glow.
