The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority organised a joint meeting with several representatives from the private sector, including hotels, shopping centers, and entertainment projects, to discuss BTEA's plans and programs for the "Bahrain Summer 2025" festival, as part of its efforts to develop the partnership between the public and private sectors in executing major events.
During the meeting, Ms. Sarah Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of the BTEA, emphasised the crucial role of the private sector in the success of the tourism programs and initiatives implemented by the authority, noting that effective partnership with the private sector is a fundamental pillar in executing the tourism strategy 2022–2026, that aims to diversify the tourism product and increase the sector's contribution to the national economy.
