Bethenny Frankel given stern warning by fans for friend's ILLEGAL move in Florida
Bethenny Frankel worried fans on Thursday as she shared a video clip featuring her friend Sarah Lacharlotte engaging in an unsafe driving practice.
The women were cruising around Florida, where 54-year-old Frankel recently moved, in a luxury vehicle with a red leather interior while Sarah held her phone to her ear.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star said at the top of the recording, 'I just get in the car and my friend is on the phone with, presumably, one of her children and this is the sentence that comes out of her mouth: "No, baby. It's flying termites. It's ok, there's no reason to be alarmed."'
At one point in the snippet, Bethenny's blonde friend even admitted, 'I'm going to have an accident right now because I'm texting... I'm not texting, I'm talking [on the phone] without my seatbelt on.'
Frankel then shouted, 'My friends are going to cancel you,' and her prediction was correct as a flood of comments rolled in condemning the risky behavior.

'She looks distracted driving while holding her phone,' one person pointed out.
Another person dismissed the termites, writing, 'My bigger concern is why the hell is she holding her phone while driving. It's called Bluetooth. Be safe!'
Someone else asked, 'Why is she holding her phone while driving?'
'I would worry more about her driving with her phone pretty sure her car has Bluetooth,' another social media user commented.
There was also a note that read, 'Driving with a cellphone is a no no in my state... also no seat belt. Please don't drive distracted.'
'She needs to get off the phone, friends,' yet another follower added.
And influencer McKay Cooper demanded, 'Ma'am!!!! You have the f*****g QUEEN in your passenger seat. Put the phone down. Protect B with your damn life!!!'
In Florida, it's not illegal to talk on a phone while driving, but it is illegal to manually enter or read text messages while driving.
Specifically, drivers are prohibited from sending, receiving, or reading text messages, and from manually typing or entering multiple letters, numbers, or symbols on a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle.
Using a handheld device is also prohibited in school and work zones.
Ironically, Bethenny returned to Instagram a few hours later to share an Uber ad touting the use of teen accounts for ensured safety.
Frankel is mom to 15-year-old daughter Brynn Hoppy, her only child, whom she shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy.

Bethenny's indiscretion comes after earlier this week she hit back at critics who body shamed her for walking a Miami Swim Week fashion show in a thong bikini.
After the appearance ignited backlash online, she took to Instagram to reveal how she felt about baring all on the runway.
She said: 'It's time for women to start focusing on and realizing that what's on the inside will lead to being happier with what's on the outside.
'As the internet is so fascinated with my age, my weight, my face, my hair, I can tell you with certainty, every woman that was with me on that stage did not look that way two hours prior.'
And she noted, 'The images you and your daughters see of women — Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé — there is a lot of work that goes into that, a lot of glam, a lot of make-up, a lot of contouring.'
