Patna: Around half a dozen armed robbers shot at a cattle trader and beat up five others with the butt of a pistol near the Dibri bridge under Sarsai police station area in Purnia district on Monday. They also robbed them of Rs 3.50 lakh cash and escaped in a car. All the victims, residents of Malda district in West Bengal, were on their way to a cattle market in Banmankhi Haat in the district, when the incident took place, police said.
