Hong Kong star scores as Shanghai Shenhua eye Champions League Elite progression

Hong Kong international Shinichi Chan was on the scoresheet as Shanghai Shenhua beat Vissel Kobe 4-2 in the AFC Asian Champions League Elite on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old's well-placed finish was his second of the season and put his side 2-0 ahead in first-half stoppage time.
However, the star on the night for Shenhua was Saulo Mineiro, who scored a hat-trick after opening the scoring inside two minutes.
The hosts' task was made easier when Vissel's Powell Obinna Obi was sent off after just seven minutes.
It was the Chinese Super League side's last match of the East Region league phase and victory has given them a chance of qualifying for the round of 16.
Shenhua sit seventh in the 12-team league on 10 points, with the top eight progressing.
