Three Savannah coffee shops top buzzy coffee best-of list
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — a website dedicated to all things java, has named three Savannah coffee shops the best in Georgia.
Coming in at number two on their list is Foxy Loxy Cafe. Located in Savannah's historic district on Whitaker Street, this favorite of locals and tourists alike offers expertly brewed coffee drinks in a boho atmosphere. You can sit inside and enjoy the eclectic artwork that changes regularly, sit in their back courtyard and take in the colorful surroundings, or sit on the sidewalk and take in a beautiful view of Forsyth Park. Try the popular Horchata Latte, a Latin espresso drink. You can get it hot or iced.
At number six on the list is Savannah Coffee Roasters. SCR has been around for more than a century. You can dine inside, enjoy a drink outside or take one to go and stroll through Savannah's historic downtown. You can even watch them roast their coffee beans in their impressive roaster. Try their Honeybee almond latte, one of their most popular drinks on the menu.
Number 10 on the list is The Coffee Fox on Broughton Street. This award-winning craft coffee shop, owned by the same folks who run Foxy Loxy Cafe, offers a full espresso menu. You can also enjoy a cortado or a matcha. Take yours to go and wander the historic streets of Savannah while you sip.
