No ‘Phil the Park' in 2025, lack of funding cited as reason

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Philharmonic announced Monday they will no longer hold their annual Phil the Park event. In a release dated May 12, the organization cited lack of financial backing as the reason. Daphne Nash, Board Chair for the organization said, 'While this has been a tough decision for the Savannah Philharmonic, we remain fully committed to our mission to further expand our programs as we entertain, inspire, and build community throughout our region.' The Savannah Philharmonic has a full 2025-26 concert season planned. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
