‘Savannah GPS': How you can help shape the city's future
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A new initiative called 'Savannah GPS' is placing residents in charge of the future.
According to city leaders, 'Savannah GPS' is a bold new effort to map out the city's future. They're turning to residents for directions. From online surveys to community meetings – this is your chance to help shape the future of our city.
Your input will affect the city's future to improve safety, economic growth, community development, infrastructure, municipal standards, and quality of life.

The city is taking public comments until June 20th. The First Public Hearing on the proposed Plan (similar to a first reading) at the Council Meeting on June 12th. The proposed Plan will be the focus of the presentation at the upcoming Savannah at Night Town Hall on June 25th. The Second Public Hearing and resolution adopting the proposed Plan (amended, if necessary) will take place at the June 25th Council Meeting.
