Officer injured arresting man yelling at Syracuse Airport
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A police officer was injured at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport while trying to arrest a man who was yelling at airline staff and passengers on Monday.
According to the police report, the incident happened around 10:40 a.m. on April 7.

Airport Police say they received a report of a man who has been identified as 25-year-old Jordan Scalzo physically fighting passengers near the gate. When officers tried to detain Scalzo, one of the officers hurt his right hand.
Police also said that Scalzo was making threats of self-harm.
Scalzo was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
