#SHOWBIZ: Scha Elinnea: It's okay if fans are more interested in my personal life
KUALA LUMPUR: Young actress Scha Elinnea acknowledges that the line between her private life and public persona is often blurred, an inevitable aspect of celebrity.
The 26-year-old artiste recently said that she doesn't particularly mind when fans show more interest in her personal life than her professional work.
"I don't mind if fans want to know my personal life story.
That's part of being in this industry," said Scha, whose real name is Nur Azleen Natasha Mohamed Mubeen.
"Of course, when people say bad things about me, sometimes it can hurt too."
However, she generally doesn't take such comments to heart, especially when they come from individuals she doesn't know personally.
"Instead, I take it as a challenge to improve and move ahead in this line of work. People can make whatever assumptions they want. At the end of the day, I know where I stand," explained Scha, adding that her family, particularly her mother, are her staunchest supporters.
She shared these thoughts with reporters at a recent fan meeting with the cast of 'Anak-Anak Mafia', here.
Scha is part of the ensemble cast for the drama series, which is set to stream on Tonton from June 12.
Directed by Suhaimi Zulkfeli, the series also features Mierul Aiman, Fitri Farok, Fariz Isqandar, and Zhen Ning.
