Analyst Guarantees Steelers Will Finally Have Losing Season in 2025

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin during a game against the Cleveland Browns on Dec. 8, 2024. -- Ed Thompson / Steelers Now Analyst Adam Schein is confident the Pittsburgh Steelers' two decade-plus streak of non-losing seasons will come to an end in 2025. The Pittsburgh Steelers have not had a losing season since 2003 when they finished the year with a 6-10 record. But analyst Adam Schein believes that streak will finally come to an end in 2025. Advertisement 'I'll amend this if [Aaron] Rodgers plays, or maybe I won't,' Schein said on 'Mad Dog Sports Radio.' 'We're gonna predict it again. One of these years we're gonna be right. Mike Tomlin is gonna have a losing record this year. I guarantee this is the year. They are worse at quarterback. They don't have a quarterback.' It's fair to argue the Steelers don't currently have the talent at quarterback to continue their non-losing seasons streak, but Tomlin has already won with a lot worse. In 2019, Tomlin led Pittsburgh to an 8-8 finish with quarterbacks Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges after Ben Roethlisberger suffered a season-ending elbow injury. (Photo by Ian Johnson/Icon Sportswire) With that said, the Steelers still expect Rodgers to be on their roster for the 2025 season. Schein thinks their problems are more than just at quarterback, though. Advertisement 'Worse at receiver. Worse at running back. Schedule is difficult,' Schein said. 'I think the Jets are gonna beat the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 1 of the season. Mason Rudolph? Really? Is that what we're doing? Or Aaron Rodgers is gonna have to introduce himself to his teammates at some point this spring or summer time. I mean, what's the game plan here for the Pittsburgh Steelers?' Pittsburgh does find itself in a very similar situation at wide receiver from a year ago. It seemed like the team finally found a complement to George Pickens after trading for DK Metcalf this offseason, but then it traded Pickens away anyway. However, the same can't be said for running back. The Steelers did lose Najee Harris to the Los Angeles Chargers in free agency, but they used their third-round pick (No. 83) in the 2025 NFL Draft on Kaleb Johnson. Johnson has big shoes to fill, but he won't be alone with the help of fellow running backs Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell. Advertisement It will be difficult to find anyone who believes Pittsburgh will be a Super Bowl contender this season, but guaranteeing a losing season still seems a bit far-fetched. WATCH: Mom meets 8-year-old who received daughter's donated heart

CLEVELAND (WJW) – An 8-year-old girl got a second chance at life after receiving a heart transplant at the Cleveland Clinic. Last summer, a mother was overcome with emotion when she was given the chance to meet that 8-year-old, who had received her late daughter's heart. Video shared by the Cleveland Clinic on TikTok this week shows the moment Lisa Schein got the chance to listen to her daughter's donor heart beating inside Mireya Moody last August. According to the Cleveland Clinic, Schein made the decision to donate her daughter Maddy's organs after she died from an ATV accident at just 8 years old. In January 2022, Mireya was an energetic 4-year-old when her life suddenly changed. She was diagnosed with left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy, a rare and incurable condition that can lead to heart failure, the Cleveland Clinic said. After Mireya had a successful heart transplant, Bianca Robinson and Schein connected about one year later. As they shared stories about Mireya and Maddy, both moms were amazed by the girls' similarities, according to the Cleveland Clinic. While meeting at a park near Mireya's home in University Heights, Schein listened to her daughter's donated heart, and Mireya felt as though she needed to give Schein a hug. 'It was a long embrace that solidified an unbreakable bond,' the Cleveland Clinic post reads. Video shows rescue of boy with autism wandering on freeway 'I also loved being able to tell them stories about who Maddy was — about her infectious laugh and bubbly personality. I think that's when my heart began to start healing,' Schein said, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Mireya loves stuffed toys, as did Maddy. Mireya's favorite, which she sleeps with every night, is a cuddly plushie, shaped like an avocado. It was a gift from the Schein family at their first meeting. Mireya named it Maddy. According to Lifeline of Ohio, Maddy gave the gift of life to four people. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Stopping the production of pennies is actually a logical cost-saving move. Pennies will still be used as currency, and there's currently an over abundance of pennies already in circulation. This is one issue where I agree with 'President' Musk. Democrats refuse to recognize why they lost the election. All they want to do is block President Trump from carrying out his campaign promises that a majority of the voters elected him to do. They do not want to reduce the size of government and they don't want to cut back on spending taxpayers' money. Democratic Illinois Rep. Jane Schakowsky, during a Congressional committee hearing, said the word 'manufacturing' sounded like a guy to her. Presumably she's nosing around to find yet another plain English word that offends her or someone else so she can create another faux issue to be concerned about instead of real adult life concerns or problems that concern Americans in her district and the country at large. The word derives from Latin and means hand helping or working. Do you realize that Temu and Schein are Chinese companies? By the way so is Quince, that is being advertised on TV. I try not to buy Chinese products. It's tough but can be done. Buy American, buy Vietnamese, buy Taiwanese. Quit helping China. Spend just a couple more bucks to help Americans. If President Trump really wants to keep more jobs in America, he should make a proclamation that call centers for goods bought in the U.S. must be located in the U.S. I get very annoyed when trying to place an order by phone and get a person who barely speaks English and has no clue how to answer my questions without placing me on hold for sometimes hours. I'm tired of hearing 'thank you for patiently waiting.' I'm no longer patient and I'm fed up with foreigners reciting prepared scripts that do not answer my questions. Heaven forbid if I insist on speaking to someone in America or a supervisor. They place me on hold again, and the same person comes back on the call claiming they are a supervisor in America. Apparently President Trump and Elon Musk are continuing their attack on fact-based journalism, replacing with it their partisan media takeover. Now they are trying to kill the fact-based Public Broadcasting Station so they can have unchecked corruption. The same reason they are getting rid of the EPA, Consumer Finance Protection Agency, Inspector Generals, and marginalizing the FBI and CIA. Billionaires win, regular citizens lose. Because the Associated Press won't use President Trump's preferred pronouns for the Gulf, they have been barred from the Oval Office and Air Force One? Send your Sound Offs to soundoff@
