Wichita Falls hosts music fest to honor Scotty P and fundraiser
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A late-night radio personality will be honored at a local dance hall Sunday, June 1.
Scotty Preston, also known as Scotty P, was one of the most beloved personalities on the airwaves in the Texoma area.
Scotty P passed away in November 2022.
In honor of Scotty P, Crazy Horse Saloon, located at 1403 North Scott, and Dance Hall will be hosting their inaugural Scotty P Chick'n Pick'n Memorial Music Festival.
The event kicks off at 1 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m.
The door fee to attend is $10, and the event will benefit the nonprofit Homeless Lives Matter of Wichita Falls.
