Here are some amazing deals and ideas to help make the day extra Prince Waikiki Hotel Looking to wow that special someone on Valentine's Day? The Prince Waikiki Hotel is offering a Romance package the entire month of February featuring ocean views and bubbly. 'You get a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival and complementary off a resort fee as well,' Prince Waikiki Hotel General Manager Sean Ganhinhin said. Ganhinhin said the Romance Package costs $279 per night and also includes a food and beverage credit that can be used at 100 Sales, their premiere seafood buffet, which is offering a special Valentines seafood buffet Feb. 13 through Feb. 16. 'Valentine's Day week in particular, we'll have snow crab, sashimi and an abundance of seafood and prime rib for our guests to enjoy,' he explained. 'If you haven't experienced Prince Waikiki, it's definitely something you should experience. We've got a phenomenal product, great staff, great location. I don't think you'd be disappointed.' With Valentine's Day falling on a Friday this year, Ganhinhin said they only have a few opening left. 'If you want to take advantage, I would recommend calling it now,' he said. They are also offering a Kamaaina rate of $199 per night. Click here for more details. Waikiki Aquarium Looking for a unique experience? The Waikiki Aquarium is hosting its annual Seaduction event. 'It's something different that we offer here in the aquarium,' Waikiki Aquarium Public Information Specialist Dadia Ellis explained. 'I feel like it's a special touch. Not everywhere can you enjoy a dinner inside the galleries in front of your favorite tanks.' Seaduction kicks off 5:30 p.m. on Valentine's Day with a champagne toast as you tour the aquarium. Ellis said inside tables are sold out but there's still space available for dinner under the stars on the main lawn with a buffet provided by Chart House. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at the door or online. All proceeds benefit the Waikiki Aquarium. MW Restaurants Looking for a low-key evening but still want to impress? Artizen by MW and MW Restaurant are both offering to-go Valentine's dinners for two. 'You can just kind of grab something really quick and be like here, surprise,' Artizen Sous Chef Mac said. 'And it's not just like a fast food thing. That's what the day is for, for having something like a nice meal with your significant other.' MW Restaurant owner and Chef Wade Ueoka said the to-go meals are very popular with guests. Artizen is offering a three course meal and MW is offering a four course meal for pick up. Pre-orders are being accepted through Feb. 13th. Artizen is also offering an impressive dine-in three course Valentine's menu now through Feb. 15 for just $45. Book soon, as reservations are filling up fast. Zippy's If you can't find a sitter to watch the kids, Zippy's has something for the whole family. They are offering a special Parmesan Crusted Mahi with Creamy Butter Caper Sauce over Spaghetti available and dine-in and take-out sides at all Zippy's locations. Seaduction celebrating Valentine's Day in Waikiki
HONOLULU (KHON2) — If you're looking for a fun way to spend Valentine's Day, you can do so right along the beach in Waikiki at the Aquarium for their Seaduction event.'We're excited to celebrate love, friendship, or simply a magical night under the stars at the Waikiki Aquarium at our enchanting Seaduction event,' said Elizabeth Churchill, the Executive Director of Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium. 'Whether you're planning a romantic evening with your Valentine, a fun outing with your Galentine or a group of friends, it will be a night to remember. It's also a great way to support the Waikiki Aquarium.' Churchill says the evening will feature live music by harpist Megan Levin, a champagne reception, delectable cuisine from Chart House Waikiki, and a fascinating glimpse into the mysterious mating rituals of the Aquarium's marine life. It begins at 5:30 p.m. with a champagne reception and time to explore the galleries, with dinner to follow at 6:15 p.m. The Bella Project aims to make prom affordable for every high school student There will be tables for two arranged throughout the Aquarium's galleries, fronting exhibits such as Barrier Reef, Moon Jellies, Reef Predators, Weedy Sea Dragons and more. 'Tables for Two includes welcome champagne in a special keepsake, a bottle of wine, and three-course dinner service within the galleries,' Churchill said. 'General admission seating will be available on the Aquarium lawn, where everyone can enjoy a beautiful sunset over Waikīkī and an evening under the stars, all while watching the harpist play. Lawn seating includes the champagne reception and a buffet dinner, also by Chart House. The evening's menu will feature a culinary experience by Chart House Waikiki, which recently reopened after an extensive 9-month renovation. The refreshed space honors its 50+ years of history as Waikiki's only waterfront restaurant not located in a hotel.' Admission per table of two is $300 and general admission is $75 per person.
