PHOTOS: 1 killed in Canton Township hit-and-run; see the suspect's car
CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — The Stark County Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit-and-run that killed a 39-year-old on Sunday, June 15.
Deputies on Monday, June 16, released photos of a white sedan believed to have struck 39-year-old Sean Gates just after 10:30 p.m. that night in the 1600 block of Shepler Church Avenue Southwest, Canton Township.
Suspect missing after deadly shooting, standoff in Cleveland
Deputies believe the vehicle to be a white sedan with front-end damage.
The vehicle fled the scene. Gates was pronounced dead at the scene.
