Baez Defends Rio Open Crown
Sebastian Baez made it back-to-back Rio Open titles on Sunday, defeating France's Alexandre Muller 6-2, 6-3 to claim his seventh ATP trophy. A Commanding Performance The 24-year-old Argentine found his groove early, breaking Muller late in the first set before closing it out to love. Sealing the Victory Muller put up a fight in the second set, briefly leading 3-2, but Baez responded with precision, firing 26 winners and keeping his unforced errors to 23 as he secured the win.
